About Me
Hello and welcome! I’m a retired Assistant General Manager of SBI, with over 44 years of experience in the banking industry. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of guiding and mentoring hundreds of bankers — first as the Director of the SBI Training Centre in Guwahati, and later as Faculty cum Programme Director at the RBI-governed Indian Institute of Bank Management (IIBM), Guwahati, which trains banking professionals from across India.
With an academic background in Physics (Hons), an MBA in Finance, and CAIIB, I’ve always believed in continuous learning. I’ve also successfully completed advanced Faculty Skill Development and Behavioural Science Development programmes from the State Bank Academy, Gurgaon — one of SBI’s premier training institutions.
